This is great. I was thinking of something very similar for installing aftermarket stereos, amps, etc. - sort of a "breakout box" with connections to battery, ign pwr, and gnd, all easily accessible and labeled in a nice box under the hood.

Bob replied:

This box would absolutely be able to do that

I have decided to go with a Touch Screen instead of rocker switches. You can follow along at; https://incredibits.io/project/touch-screen-relay-control

Update

A bit of an update on the project. I have the list of parts finalized. I am living on disability pay so have to wait until the beginning of the month to order the parts. I have not given up on the project. It will just take some time. But once I have the parts in hand, I will be able to assemble this in a short time. Thanks for your patience and following along.

Hi, sound good. Are the lights going on the roof?

Bob replied:

The picture of my Jeep on the project page shows my lights. I have two on my Bull Bar, Two on the fenders by the windshield, a 52 inch light bar above the windshield, rock lights underneath. I also plan on putting two on the back for reverse lights that will also tie into the box so they can be controlled both by a switch and the reverse light circuit.

Jack replied:

Ah yes, I can see now. Looks good. Looks like a big wiring job!

Ollie replied:

Looks cool!, A friend stuck 4 rally style lights to the grill of his mini (back in the 90s), they were very powerful. However the police stopped him, and made him disable two of them!
